Outstanding development of wireless communication technology magnified the mobility as the core value of note PC. Our task was to design the product as slim and light as possible while securing its function. Our solution was to arrange ODD and Keyboard, two parts that decide the thickness of product, in parallel rather than a typical layout of lamination. Top-Loading ODD was used and Keyboard was located at the bottom of the product. Quite challenging design concept of this excited us and we had to deal with many internal questions but we eventually succeeded in Samsung Sens X1 commercialization.
