Samsung’s Premium design line had continuously evolved and it reached its pinnacle in the 4th generation(ATIV Book 9). We chose a new approach; rather than previous method of adding more to the form, we decided to sculpt away the form for the 4th design. Therefore, our design process was handicraft and sculpting at the same time. We focused on developing dia-cutting method on the side and we could perform 10mm thickness cutting at the 4th generation. Aesthetic design of Series 9 of the 4th generation, a precisely cut gemstone, was created by evolution of methods and new approach.
