Defining has designed table containers for Onwha, which aims for a Korean living brand. Inspired by Chanhap, which are traditional Korean food container, table container Mion is brilliant in terms of formative beauty as well as functionality. Chanhap, which means a bowl (盒) for side dishes (饌) is a container that is made to be stacked in multiple layers and carried around. Consisting of three basic modules, Mion has the expandability to hold a large number of items with its vertical stacking of modules. And, it makes the space stand out wherever it is placed with its delicate sculptural beauty, just like Korean traditional white porcelain. Satisfying both function and aesthetics, Mion inherits the traditional culture and philosophy into the modern age.
